duke studios is a co-working space that provides an open collaborative workspace in the city center of leeds, united kingdom, to create a space as a central hub for working professionals. the idea was inspired to build an exciting and inclusive co-working space for creative individuals to facilitate knowledge exchanges, encourage networking and spark collaboration, with the goal to nurture new talents.
concept statement
duke studio aims to provide a common space to supply opportunities for collaboration. conceptual idea relating to the site, the client's brief, and the programs of the co-working, the proposed interior presents the concept by using the center space acting as a central hub, interlinking the workspaces and facilities. workspaces and facilities link towards the centralized space for collaboration opportunities. the interior space is brightly lit with bold colors and a lifted shipping container in the center of the interior to ensure the emphasis on the central hub. the workspaces and facilities are interlinked to the hub leading all spaces towards the central hub to foster alliances.
