jeremy lin, an american - taiwanese with a career playing as a professional basketball player. he has association with the gaming lifestyle especially to be known as an honorary captain in the e-sports team, team vgj. with that lifestyle, the approach of designing an interior design for his residential will be inspired by the style of a mancave through the usage of concrete and natural wood.
concept statement
inspired from the jeremy lin’s private interest of playing game and the link of decision making during his professional basketball career, leading to the idea of butterfly effect in which extract out keywords of rhythm, direction and point. the idea is to design a house that resembles the idea of decision making applied on the circulation entering to the house and encountering areas based on his destination, leading him to different spaces where each of those spaces acting as a pulse of direction guiding him through the house part by part, hence the pulse of direction.
